So i wrecked my bike on October 1st.. still recovering. Funny thing is.... i had full gear on and it all did EXACLY its job. everythings trashed, but it all worked. Full padded jacket, knucked gloves, vest.. saved my @$$ from road rash. not a scratch on me besides where the barbed wire tore through my pants. Just bought a SHARK helmet 2 weeks before.. and it worked like a charm. only has a rash on the side and the 3mm visor has a nice scratch.. to bad the whole thing was $560.. but its better then having to pay for a broken head right? lol. so.. for all you that just got the recall notice on the 06 R6, take it in ASAP! thats how i wrecked.. couldnt slow down. anyway.. just thought id share the love. wish i had my bike though... =-(
