I was meant to go out with the misses. Got my r6 (not as a present, i sold my car) 3 days ago (before my B.Day) and have been out on it once only. Bought it in the evening, went to bed, got up next day, battery was flat, went to shop for new battery, came back fitted battery, too f**ing big wrong battery, next day go to shop to change battery, not one in the shop as have to order, get it day after after paying an arm and a leg for it, it fit it (this is the interesting bit)....
as i was rushing to put the battery in, to get out for my birthday with the misses on time, i put the battery in the wrong way (yeah i know, i know), started the bike and no power hmmm thats odd, because i did that the alarm came off it's valet mode and went on to it's normal (don't you dare take my battery out bitch or i will scream the street down mode) and because i had no power in the bike i could not put it back on to valet mode and i had to stand next to it for 3 hours unbeeping it every 15 seconds (un alarming it) so the alarm would not go off and wake the street up. Why did I have no power in the bike (at all i mean) I blew a bloody fuse putting the battery in the wrong way and trying to starting it. I took it into my house in the end and let it beep beep away in there, bloody loud in a house.
Cost me 60 quid (pounds) to get someone out that evening (took him 2 seconds, i'm in the wrong job) to give me a main fuse and waisted 4 hours of my birthday night. Did I go out with the misses? No, I went out on the bike instead. Is that bad? The lesson here is, don't put the battery in the wrong way in, and don't go out on the bike once it's fixed, because your misses will beat you to **** when you get back, for not going to the surprise party. It was a surprise, how the hell did i know. what a day.
