are their any vertically challenged guys or girls on this site? i'm only 5'5" and about 150lbs. will i be able to comfortably fit on an r6? what suspension setups do you smaller guys have?

hey, im 5/8 and i fit just lovely on my r6. if your 5/5 i think you will be able to touch both feet, but on tip toes.

Best thing to do is go and sit on one. But I think you should be fine.

I'm 5'7", and can't flatfoot mine, but I can at least put both feet down.

But do yourself a favor - DON'T LOWER IT. You'll **** up the geometry big time, and ruin one of the best things about an R6 - the handling.

I'm quite a bit heavier than you. My track R6 has Traxxion Dynamics forks with 90 springs, and a Penske double-clicker in the rear, also with heavier springs. My street R6 also has a heavier rear spring and 95 springs in the front, though it's set a little softer to be a touch more forgiving on the bumps.

At your weight, the stock spring weights are probably going to be pretty close to what you need. Get a suspension tuner to set up the bike for you and you'll be in good shape.
