what up guy's and gals? my question is how much tire psi do stunters have in there rear tire for wheelies?to me it looks like they have about 15 psi.

Here are a few guidelines:

The more you air down, the less your bike will want to corner. (keep this is mind of you air down and need to ride to where you are going to stunt)

The more you air down, the less protection your wheels have from things you hit. (When you're aired down it's a lot easier to bend a wheel.)

When you air down you will be getting a wider and flatter profile of your tire. This will make it track straighter when you're up on one.

Airing down has a lot of personal feel. About the lowest you want to go is 10 psi. I've seen guys go into the single digits, but they are almost riding on their rims. Not good.

Start dropping into the 25psi range. See how you like it. This will give you a better profile, but will still have a lot of air to maintain some rideability when you're not doing wheelies.

If 25psi isn't enough go to 20psi, then high teens 17-18psi, then 15psi, then 12... Until you find a happy medium for what you are looking for.
