I was wondering if anyone had any recomendations as far as slip ons. I want a good pipe with good performance, along with a mean sound. People are saying go for an Arata? Or if anyone knows or has a slip on pipe for an 04 R6 and they wish to sell it? Thanks for your help!

D&D i think are the most ANNOYING exhausts out there.. i'm sorry, but there is no need to compete w/ a harley for who's louder.

I had a 99 r6 with a Vance & HInes S4 Titanium and was the sweetest sound I have ever heard to this day. It has a deep throaty growl at an idel and low revs but changed to a nice crisp scream at higher revs. It had the perfect sound level for town riding, just enough to get the attention you deserve but quite enough for the respect of others. Also this same pipe was made in a stainless version but had a totaly different sound to it. A friend bought it to save a few bucks over the titanium but was very unhappy with the sound of his r6.

micron highmount, sounds good, good power gains, and street legal

I'm borrowing a carbon fiber GYTR from a friend to see if I like it on my 05 r6 it sounds great and looks real good with the bike being all black

I would have to say micron high mount all the way. Looks and sounds perfect.

I have an 03 R6 with a Scorpion Titanium slip on that I love to death. It has a nice sound at idle and an even better one at about 13,000 RPM. The only exhaust that I would warn against is the D&D. In my opinion, they look cheap and sound cheaper.
