ive got a 04 r6 and noticed that one of my front struts is a little wet is it possible to rebuild myself or do i need to take it to a shop

It sounds like you blew a fork seal. If you are some what mechanically inclined you can rebuild your own forks. Keep in mind there are a lot of little pieces in there, si uf you aren't very good with a wrench you might be better off paying someone.

I've rebuilt both conventional and inverted forks. After a while they get to be pretty easy to take apart, but I can still remember the concern and caution used on my first set of sticks.
