I will have to say blue for me. It would be red but I don't like the black they put in there. Blue just goes with the Yamaha name 8)

i liked the limited edition colors the best. Im not sure if u guys got them or not over there. I have the 03 blk w/red flames ltd.edition.

Yellow looks great but gets mistaken for a Duke of Zuki.

Havnt really seen any custom jobs of note.
I'd like to see the bike in matt black or all carbon fibre panels.. umm.

Well, had another look on the gallery and that yellow one gets me salivating.... 8)

I think the answer is to have a blue one for the street and a firmed-up yellow one for the track... :idea:

Talking of the gallery... i am working on it over the next few days so that everyone can create + modify pictures.
Hopefully , the integration wil go work okay so that users on the forum can smoothly go into thr gallery without re-entering their login details.

LiquidSilver kicks a$$, if only because there aren't many other bikes like that around. My second choice would be blue

Interestingly, the yellow has more views on the GALLERY (http://www.r6.com/forum/modules/gallery) but you could put that down to curiosity as the USA dont get that color option. :twisted:

I went with Red because it is different. I get more looks from other riders, blue r6's the most. I think that the red is more flashy, good and bad, It just seems to me that it sticks out in a crowd of bikes. there are just so many yellow, black or blue yamis, gsxrs, kawis, cbrs, etc, dont see red as much as you used too.

You do have a point, it is rarer.
Maybe this will attract those who like something different and red registrations will increase.

Still, simillar to the way only Italian cars pull red off I think only Ducati look really good in the color.

This is of course, purely my opinion only.

Mind you, I'd love to see an R6 is a custom dark, metallic red (no white anywhere) :!:

I saw a 03 R6 yesterday that was all custom. I didn't have my camera with me unfortunately though. this guy had some kind of a grim reaper thing going on. he put a custom windscreen with a cloaked skull on front, and painted bottom fairings with a graveyard & fog scene. the tank was black/red ish.. and parts were ripped out to see the blue underneath. his seats were covered in dark red satin. it was cool, but weird. I'm sure I'll see it again, as he must live close to me. I'll get a pic of it.

I know a few have made it out of the continent.
They rarely come up for resale and if they do.... They are snapped up.

you crazy brits and you yellow bike...but even the silver is different than the one sittin in my garage...there is a graphic on the tank and top fairing that you don't get here in the US but i def have to go with silver just cuz myne is silver and i have alot of blue on it with custom hand cut vinyl and a crap load of anodized everything in blue i get more lue droolers than anyone can imagine on the wrong side of the atlantic or pacific or what ever ocean that is

Yellow R6 has to be the most desireable, but blue is definately the most popular

come on people everyone knows that blue is the fastest (the color alone gives it an extra million hp)

I have a blue R6 but hate the lamo graphics. I have removed the stickers on the side panels and will have the rest removed from the tank this winter. The only sticker on y bike is the r6 on the rear. I took all of the stickers off my Ducati execpt the 'supersport 750' and recieved a lot of nice comments. I like my bike to have very understated look.
