Just got a slightly used Bridgestone Battlax Racing front tire for my R6. After some high speed riding the front tip of the fender was melted with some burnt rubber on top... The tire still looks good.

Anyone else had the same experience? Could the tire pressure be the problem?

Thinking of getting a carbon front fender, but I'm afraid it would crack the second anything gets in between. What to do, what to do......

You'll see that on most track bikes. where the fender comes to a point closest to the tire it gets all black. You can try to loosen all the hardware on the fender and lift up while you snug everything tight again. That'll get the fender as high up in its adjustment travel as possible.

What size is the tire? Stock size is 120/60/17...most aftermarket tires are 120/70/17 wich is larger in diameter. If you have the 70 series tire you need to lift your fender.

That's right. BT-001 120/70/17. I better have a look at det fender adjustment. it makes scratching sounds for every little rock in the road
