So I put on a FE kit over the weekend, and tested all my lights to make sure they worked. It seemed to be fine, so I taped it all up and it was all good. I just checked today, and now my brake light is constantly on, and won't turn off. I think it might be due to the license plate light which I just unhooked. Any ideas?????????

basically taped them up separately. Also, I never even touched the wires for the brake light. Only changed the rear lights, and got rid of the license plate light.

Check your rear brake area were the pedal leads too. There is an adjustmet that is like a nut. You screw it up or down to make your light more sensative or less. I figured this out because my brake light would not go on when i used my rear brake. If you push down on the brake and follow up to see where the line moves, you will see the little tube or box that works your brake light. When i made mine too tight, the brake light wouldnt go off. Its one of those trial by error things. I hope this works for you.

double check your wiring by plugging in the original rear lights, then if they remain on then it more likely to be one of the switches. if its ok then its your wiring. Good Luck :)
