Hey guys ive been ridin bikes since i was real little and ive been racin 4 wheelers for a couple years and ive decided to get a bike. Im 18 and iv go t the money so i deff decided to get a bike. I am tryin to decide wether to get the R1 or R6 i want a bike that is going to sound real good and have real good speed but i want one that isnt gonna be so heavy i dunno real i just kinda awant some opinions on what experienced riders think

Sinc you have been racing quads for 4 years I won't give you the "R6 isn't for newbies rant". Niether of the bikes is really a newbie bike, but the R6 would better suit a new rider than a R1. Niether bike is very heavy and the weight difference is minimal. The real difference is power. The R6 will power whelie in 1st and could loop a ham fisted rider. The R1 on the other hand can power wheelie in 3rd and WILL loop a ham fisted rider in 1st or 2nd. Think of the R1 is a big R6...then make your decision. (btw, a good rider on an R6 can smoke a squid on a R1 anyday)
