I had my wife go into the DMV (California) today to transfer title on my 2003 R6 that I bought on Sunday. It was all filled out correctly and when she got to the counter and showed the lady the title she looked at it and said "This is the wrong title." and wrote "VOID" on it and said "NEXT!" My wife ask what she was talking about and she said "We need the correct title, I can't help you. Bye." WTF!? I called the DMV and asked the the rep what could be the problem and she said "The best thing to do sir is bring the seller in with you, goodbye." Too bad the seller lives 200 miles away!!!

I HATE THE DMV!

why would the title say void anyway?

I'd say, call your Secretary of State and tell him/her. It probably won't solve the problem, but get the names of those who helped you and report them as being extremley dis-respectful and unhelpful.

Those idiots at the DMV could care less of what you need, Being an A** hole is a pre-requiste for the job.
