What's your physical dimentions? My GF seems interested in riding and it seems that even the R6 is too big for her (5'1" 102lbs). Looking for a EX500 to teach her on right now but would like to get her an R6 later. How tall are you and are you comfy on the 6?

Umm.. 5'1.. wow.. even dropped is she going to be able to reach the ground on an r6? I'm 5'10 i can sit flat footed .. but my friend who is 5'6 is on her toes...

Yea, I just sat her on the 6 today...on the seat she can barely flatfoot the PEGS!!!! Looks like an EX500 or EX250 is in her future :(

Trade her in for a taller model IMO! Never bad to upgrade (don't let her read this).

i think she can sit on a lowered r5 im 5'4 and i sat one my homegirls lowered r6 and i sit flat footed, so she mite be able to sit on a lowered one with half of her feet

the R7 is a real bike that some people dont know about. it was a 750 i wish yamaha would bring it back. I would so trade in the 6 for one
