ok, i bought a TRACKSIDE undertail licencse support, but when i was trying to install it i came across a problem. when taking off my stock fender i couldnt figure out how to get the turn signals off. there must be a place to disconnect the wires holding them on, but where? TIA

The disconnect is in the trunk area under the pillion (passenger) seat.

use a flathead to remove the the plastic snap screws on the bottom side of the rear seat, then it should just pop off, then u should be able to see the harness for the signals.

i just installed my fender eliminator last night. I have the brake lights hooked up, but not the turn signals. when i turn the key to start is makes a faint whining noise (like the fuel injection kicking in but a lot quieter.) Is this normal? I hooked all the wires back up and it still does it. Could i be paranoid, or just not hear it with the seat and my helmet on? Just curious if i messed anything up or not.

You said you don't have the seat on right?
It's probably a sound that gets deadened from the seat pan. Much like if you take a ride without any fairings or a run up the street without a helmet, you'll hear things that aren't the same stand out very vividly.
Try setting the seat in place and see if it goes away.

Eh I think that you are just parnoid like was....you are sitting right on top of the engine and as the techs say bikes that run at that high of rpm things need to run loose or they will break, so hearing noises is normal there is nothing wrong with the bike
