Hello All,
Well a while ago I posted a message informing you that I was trading in my CBR F2 for a new Yamaha R6 from George White.
I had a delay in delivery due to going on holiday with my family (2 week cruise on the Ocean Village) which I would recommend to people who don't do cruises coz it was absolutely fantastic...no I dont work for the company..heh heh...
Anyways the bike arrived this evening Friday 16th July at about 19:00 hrs...
It was meant to come up on Saturday but the delivery guy foned me at home to say that he was running early and would I like my bike this evening......I said absolutely.........
So anyways guy arrives ..duly unloads R6 and loads CBR........
Ok so I inspect it with my hormones going mental.........lol
Went into the house to do the paperwork i.e
You have inspected the bike and happy ect.....before handing over the cash....
However I checked it again and found the seat was damaged like in torn at the edge near the tank....also no service history book.......and last but not least the bike was not taxed......
I was f***** livid......
Also no service history book.......Spoke to manager at his home address.....said there was a backlog off service history books and I would get mine in the post......and tax disc would be sent also.......
Point is what a way to send a new bike out..........I will keep you posted as to there customer after service........

If you saw the bike beforehand and it looked okay you should get the seat fixed gratis..

Also , I am unaware of their rep but make sure you keep on top of the service book. I dont know how it works over there but after 28 days over here you lose your rights to complain.

Other than that, congrats on the bike ! :)

The dealership should replace that seat for you under the "Damaged During Shipping" clause...should be no biggie. I even saw a guy get his tank replaced due to the same thing (scratch on the tank from shipping). Service book is no biggie as I'm sure they'll get it to you, but don't let it slip...you paid for it.
